Steve Jobs, former CEO of Apple, passed away last night due to his long battle with pancreatic cancer. I, personally, did not know Steve, but like many others was greatly influenced by what he was able to accomplish. Although Steve was best known for his unparalleled visionary and marketing genius, I believe his most remarkable ability was being able to inspire millions of people to make the most of their lives.
Many of us may know someone who is living with, or has died from, cancer and I would be remiss in not mentioning the importance of continued cancer research. We strive for a future where cancer will no longer affect the lives of those we love, and allow for individuals like Steve to continue to change the world, unafflicted by the blight of these diseases.
